The Warranty is valid only if coils are properly cleaned on a six-month cycle in accordance with the coil cleaning procedures provided by Seller to Buyer, which includes cleaning the coils with Modine GulfClean® Cleaning products, and only if Buyer keeps complete and accurate documentation of its cleaning procedures, using the sample worksheet provided by Seller to Buyer.

GulfClean® Coil Cleaner and Salt Reducer are required to maintain a valid warranty for coils that were coated with either ElectroFin E-coat or Insitu Spray Applied Corrosion Coating family of products. And recommended for cleaning ALL coated coils as part of a preventative maintenance program. A preventative maintenance program that includes coil cleaning will help reduce energy usage and help extend equipment replacement timeline by keeping the unit running efficiently.

GulfClean® Salt Reducer the second step in the 2-step process. It is a concentrated liquid soluble salt reducer chemical blend which aids in the removal of chlorides, sulfates and surface reacted salts. Use in conjunction with the first step, the coil cleaner to thoroughly clean and revitalize HVAC equipment.

Performance Repair Aerosol™, ElectroFin® E-coat, black coating is designed to restore the ElectroFin® E-coat coating.
Many factors can alter the integrity of the coating to include moisture, salt, vibrations, temperature fluctuations and harsh chemicals. Adding the PRA™ ElectroFin® E-coat, black coating to the maintenance program will help the HVAC/R unit run efficiently.
After the coils are cleaned with our GulfClean® Coil Cleaner and Salt Reducer, the coils should be inspected for chips, scratches, and abrasions in the coating. Applying the PRA™ coil coating repairs damaged areas and provides corrosion resistance with UV protection and durability.
It is a color match for ElectroFin E-Coat, Black.
